Awesome!!

If you missed going to Amazing Grace Fellowship yesterday, you missed an awesome service.  Both the morning and evening services were God-led, but the evening service just blew us away.
Yes, we were there to sing, but we were also there to worship.  That comes first, not just to lead in worship but to be able to worship as well.
Background first.  Cliff and Lucinda Baugus are dear friends of ours.  Cliff is the pastor of the church, but as everyone knows, Lucinda is a big part of what Cliff does.  Cliff is a true child of God.  One of those rare people who were born to do God's work and never apologizes for it.  And Lucinda is the perfect match for him.  They are awesome people to know.
Amazing Grace Fellowship also has many of our friends at it as well.  We love each and every one of them.
Sunday night was also our chance to introduce the Watson's to a few people who didn't know them yet.  Although they are just really getting started on their ministry, you will be blessed when you hear this family.  Many people who see them are fascinated by 12 year old Cory.  This boy has a future in Southern Gospel.  He is one of the future generations who will carry on the music.  Don't leave Mom and Dad out though.  They have a heart for God that is so vital in this work.
The Watson's started things off with some Gaither and Cathedral standards and even got Chris up to sing some bass on Standing By the River.  Then we got up.  We had fun with Homeland and Stand Upon the Rock as well as He Can, then Lee moved into I Am Redeemed (which he does an awesome job on).  Sunday night was the first public performance of our version of Phil Cross' Wedding Music.  What an awesome song-and Steve's clear tenor notes rang out in praise of the coming of our Lord.  It was just so right and yes-awesome.  Steve will be the first to tell you and we all agree that special things happen when you just let God take over.
The last song before Bro. Mike (the associate pastor) got up to preach was God Raised the Ransom.  One thing's for sure, God didn't leave after Wedding Music.  The power of the resurrection was brought home with that song last night.  The Spirit was moving so much that Cliff and Chris were seen bouncing around at the end.  Anyone who knows quiet, humble reserved Chris would understand why that is so amazing.  But it shouldn't have been surprising since after finishing his sermon on Sunday morning Chris hollered out "That's good stuff baby".
Bro. Mike preached a fantastic message and then the invitation was called.  Everyone went forward to pray, ask for prayer, and praise the Lord.  How could they not after the worship music and the fantastic sermon.
We did two songs for invitation and just when we thought we were going to close in prayer, Cliff requested Under God.
It was an awesome Sunday.  If you didn't have an awesome Sunday, then you missed God.  Work toward finding Him this week so you can be ready to have an awesome Sunday next week.  (By the way, you don't have to wait until Sunday to have an awesome day with Him, He is there all day every day)
Talk to you soon

I am a member of Amazing Grace Fellowship and agree that Cliff is a true child of God. We love him and Lu. What a blessing it was to have Ransomed come sing. I bought two CDs and I think I have already worn them out. We enjoyed having them praise God with our congregation. Please know that you all are welcome to come sing and worship with us anytime.

    Have a blessed day!!

I just wanted to say hi to everyone that visits our web-site. I really enjoy singing GOD's message and having the chance to introduce people to Jesus. It is the least I can do compared to what he has done for me. I still can't get over the amazing, unconditional love he has for me as well as all of you. None of us deserve it. I am truly grateful for everything HE has done for me. Ransomed's only job is to introduce everyone that we can to Christ and then let HIM take over. May GOD bless each and everyone of you and keep safe. Always look to GOD for the answers. HE will answer you because HE loves you.

    Your Loving Brother In Christ,
    Stephen Berry
